The first reports of Arafat’s death that I heard had come from pro-Israelis sources. One claimed that Arafat had died of AIDS. This was an attempt to smear the man in death. Polonium 210 poisoning is the likely cause of Arafat’s death. It was used by Russian agents to kill Alexander Litvinenko in 2006. His murderer is still at large, protected by Putin and the Russian state.
